For today's technique we are using the beautiful stamps from
Stampscapes, these stamps are full of detail and are wonderful for any papercraft project. This tutorial and project is brought to you by Angelica Turner. YAY Angelica!!! I LOVE it.

First step is to apply embossing ink to your stamp. Make sure it's very well covered.

Stamp your image on patterned paper. For this project I choose stripes in bright colors.

Cover your stamped image with clear embossing powder.

Heat emboss your image until the powder is completely melted and shiny.

Using a foam brush, cover your heat embossed image with acrylic paint, in this case I chose white, you can use any color depending on your image and patterned paper.

Once the paint is completely dry, take a paper towel and spray some water on it, make sure not to put to much water on it, you just want it a bit damp.

Take the wet paper towel and start wiping the paint of the embossed image.

This is what your image will look like once you cleaned off all the paint. The colors of the background paper show thru the clear embossing powder. I love this technique because you can use pretty much any image, patterned paper, and acrylic paint you wish to use.

And tada!!! Here is the finished project.

Make sure to leave a comment before midnight tonight, you might be the lucky person to win this beautiful set of stamps. Thank you
